2026 Democratic Candidates

This year U.S. Congress Representative, State House Representatives, State Senators, PA Governor, and local and state Democratic Committee Persons will be on the ballot.

U.S. Congress (PA District 1)

Bob Harvie 

Bob Harvie is the only candidate for Congressional District 1 that is endorsed by the Montgomery County Democratic Party.

Lucia Simonelli is also running and will also appear on your ballot.  She did not ask for endorsement or introduce herself at the MCDC endorsement convention in Feb.

Positions on the Pennsylvania State Democratic Committee are allotted by State Senate District.  The candidates for your Senate District are the ones that will appear on your ballot.  There are the same number of candidates as there are open positions, so none are contested.
